INTERNATIONAL ANALOG & HYBRID COMPUTING COMMUNITY
FOUNDING INITIATIVE
CONNECTING THE GLOBAL ANALOG COMPUTING COMMUNITY
Who We Are
Around the world, engineers, researchers, students, makers, collectors, museums, and companies are working with analog and hybrid computing technologies. Yet these activities are often isolated and scattered across different countries, institutions, and online platforms.
The International Analog & Hybrid Computing Community is a new initiative to bring these people together in a single global network dedicated to the preservation, advancement, and future development of analog and hybrid computing.
Our Mission
To create an international community that promotes collaboration, education, research, innovation, and public awareness in the field of analog and hybrid computing.
Planned Activities/Ideas
- International member network
- Online discussion platform and knowledge base
- Monthly digital magazine
- Technical articles and project reports
- Workshops and educational programs
- Online lectures and webinars
- Conferences and exhibitions
- Open-hardware and open-source projects
- Historical preservation of analog computing systems
- Support for students, researchers, and enthusiasts
Who Should Join?
- Engineers
- Scientists
- Researchers
- Students
- Makers and hobbyists
- Museums and collectors
- Universities
- Technology companies
- Anyone interested in analog or hybrid computing
Founding Members
Individuals who register their interest during the founding phase will be invited to participate in the development of the community and may have the opportunity to become Founding Members.
Founding Members may be invited to:
• Participate in the initial planning process
• Contribute ideas and proposals
• Help shape the organization’s future direction
• Receive early information about events and membership opportunities
Why Now?
Recent advances in neuromorphic computing, AI accelerators, continuous-time signal processing, control engineering, and hybrid computing architectures have renewed interest in analog approaches to computation.
At the same time, many historically important analog computing systems, documents, and expertise risk being lost.
This is the right moment to build a global community that preserves this heritage while supporting future innovation.
Get Involved
If you share our vision, please register your interest using the accompanying sign-up sheet.
There is currently no membership fee and no obligation. Registration simply allows us to keep you informed about the progress of the initiative and future opportunities to participate.
Together we can build the world’s leading community for analog and hybrid computing.
